Just messing around as the eurovision is on!

Mythos Beer

Mythos (Μύθος) is a light straw-colored, pilsner style lager introduced in 1997. It is available in both 330 ml and 500 ml bottles or cans. The alcohol content is 5%. It was awarded at the "2001 INTERBEER INTERNATIONAL BEER & WHISKEY COMPETITION".

 Availability

Mythos is bottled and has widespread Greek distribution. It is exported to a number of European countries as well as the U.S.A., Canada, and Australia.

In addition to Mythos beer, Mythos Brewery also produces and distributes, in Greece, the German brands Henninger lager and Kaiser pilsener and the local brand Golden, available at selected outlets in the local market. It also imports and distributes Carlsberg Beer (Denmark), Foster's Lager (Australia), and Guinness stout and Kilkenny (Ireland).

The name Mythos means 'legend' in Greek.

We popped into that shop a couple of times last year (September) while out walking. No melons that I remember though. What time of year was the photo taken?

That photo was taken in early August.

And Mr Harribobs I don't know any smutty comments, pure as the driven snow, me!

Looks suspiciously like the ζαχαροπλαστειο (pastry shop) in the main street of Paleochora to me! Compare with this:

P.S. I'm back. Hoping to go back to Crete in June.

I was wondering if that's where it was but the rocks in the foreground put me off that notion.

it's past the harbour and the caravelle, opposite to the waters edge cafe or rather a bit further up by the new taverna ( which is extremely good by the way)
