It looked familiar although I wouldn't have got it without the clue that it was close to Lefkoya.  Last year we had a very pleasant walk from the monastery through Giannou to Lefkoya, then following the irrigation channel back to Plakias.

it's a lovely little village, we like starting off at Lefkoyia, through Gianou to Preveli monastery and then following the road back ( past the old monastery) to lefkoyia)
