Now I've read your posts again, if they are in the same village, then it can't be Plaka. Probably isn't Spinalonga either but that will have to be my next guess (final?? is not the same as final!)

John - if no-one gets the answer soon, please put us out of our misery before you fly off - I fancy going there (again?) when we're out there. I certainly don't remember seeing any tunnels in nearby villages
