I could have walked across the office and told you my suggestion, but you would not have had the pleasure of putting me right through the forum.
I think it is the domed roof within the fortifications at Rethimnon.

That's close enough, it's the domed roof of the 'Mosque?' inside the castle at Rethymnon.

I'll try and find a harder one  .

No, it's not Phaistos (or even Festos).

I must admit that the last time I was at Phaistos, which was a long time ago, it was a lot tidier than this, which made me suspicious, so I'm not going to 'guess' because I don't think I've been to this one.

The fence around the place reminds me on Gortys. Not the Agios Titos area but on the other side the road ...?

It's not Gortys.

On the site of the same city-state is this bridge dated to the Hellenistic period (330-67 B.C.):

Just guessing, but if it's not Phaestos or Gortys or Knossos, is it Aghia Triada?

Greecemad

P.S. I know where this is now, but since I resorted to Google I suppose that's cheating so I'll not say where.

No, not Aghia Triada.

I don't think it's cheating to use web resources to find the location of the pictures we post on here.
Generally there are only pictorial clues when they are first posted.
If people don't know where they are and a clue is published I think it's reasonable to use the clue to find other help on the web, such as Google Earth or any other published material.

How did the bridge clue lead you to the answer?
