Because we want to see some more than plakias,
we're searching for a car rental which is cheap, safe and fair.

Can you recommend a car rental because of your experiences or from hearsay?

Hi Patrick and Sabine
Your going to be hit with lots of suggestions.
I use the Alianthos, the cars are always reliable clean and have a fully comprehesive insurance.
The prices are around ballpark and they do vary between companies but they are not that far apart.
I had the Jimny for ten days last year and it cost me around £300 (450 Euros??)

I suggest you try MotoPlakias- in the center of town- Talk to Hari- I have been renting cars from them for 12 years- Excellent servic and prices. Phone- 28332031908. Happy motoring-

I have hired cars in Plakias for the last 8 years

Like George I'm using Alianthos this year (26 Sept till 13 Oct for those who are curious)

In the past have used Ansos (local office in Plakias Town) and Caravel (http://www.caravel.gr/) and were satisfied with both. You have a good choice of several excellent and reliable local companies from whom to rent a car.

We've used Alianthos a couple of times and they will bring the car to the airport for you if you've not got a transfer organized. This cost no extra and they were cheaper than all the airport companies.
