Anything changed?
« on: May 10, 2006, 12:08:19 PM »
Hi everyone, Ian and I are off to Plakias on 30th May for sadly only 10 days re daughter getting married in August but will be back for a fortnight in September.  Curious to know if all is the same as last September or what's new.  Staying in the Horizon Beach in May and Morpheas in September.  All fantastic as far as we are concerned.  We stay in Morpheas when we take our Mums with us its not so far for them to stagger home after a night at Lysseus especially when they practice boozing from sun down on their balcony!!!!  We have discovered that Scottish women do not grow old gracefully, thank goodness.  See you there folks.

Hi Mags
Welcome, where have you been?
I too was in Plakias Last September and will be back this September. Going by some of the messages alot has changed but nothing too drastic, unless your a clubber and used the Meltemi.
I don't want to duplicate so I suggest you peruse the site and you will get all the updates that you want.

Can anyone who's just returned tell me what the exchange rate was in Plakias?
A friend of mine just back from Halkadiki was getting 1.54euro to the pound,
still a good deal even after the usual 1.5% interest
