Congratulations Chris on overtaking Ostraco (whatever happened to him) at the top of the stats.

Two questions. You said in one posting that you are in the travel business but:

1. What do you do that gives you so much time in the Forums and on the web in general?

2. Are there any vacancies?

Mike

ps. Don't ask how I manage it as I don't work.

I sometimes wonder if people get sick of seeing my name at the end of every thread   but i feel that a decent forum does need driving

1) I'm actually an accountant ( in travel as I said) I have a nice quiet little office with a nice fast broadband connection, so when I've had enough I sneak on the net!  My theory is:- as long as the work gets done, accurately and on time, there's no problem

2) as for the job....hmm well they may be one coming up, what are you like at making tea?

mike's post has made me think about the forum,

there was no intention of becoming the 'top' poster it was an attempt to make the forum a more vibrant place

but it didn't seem to change it, so i think i shall slip away and leave you all to it

i'll still be around, ( i'm not taking my ball home   ) and if anyones interested they'll find us in the medousa or at the ostraco in late may or september

cheers

chris

Harribobs,
I think it would be a shame if you give up your contributions to the forum! Especially your photoquiz made me look in daily.  Even starting this thread seemed to be nothing but grateful honouring of your labour for the forum to me. [Due to my limited English?] I don´t think someone bite his thumb against you...?!

See you

shinaria

I certainly wasn't hinting that Harribobs was monopolising the Forum so would be disappointed if my well-meant congratulations resulted in his departure.

On another subject, I imagine many Forum members went to Plakias in 2005 with Kosmar yet there is only one review for each of their properties, Apollo and Lamon. As Kosmar is one of only two main line tour operators in the town some more reviews of their holidays would help the undecided.

Mike

I really hope i didn't give you that impression

it was only that you'd made me realise how much I'd been posting,

I have always considered you as my friend and respected your opinions

Can't wait till May/Sept so get your ball back bouncing now otherwise the Forum comes to almost a standstill (in the winter). You do not monopolise only educate and amuse us

Perhaps after this forum silence there are other members who wants to bounce the ball again, and Harribobs can ofcourse always join in again.
