Well - it will be a little while before my tickets arrive for our late September 2005 jaunt to Plakias. But guess what. I've just booked our flights from Newcastle to Heraklion for late September 2006. Daytime flights !!!, half reasonable price (up on this year though). Better than this year is that we only have to pay a deposit till 56 days before the event. The daytime flight means that we can book one night less for that earlier departure. In order to maintain creature comforts for this year's night flights we have booked 15 days accommodation rather than the 14 for next year. Useful time spent in Plakias the same though.
