Am really grateful for this information as I'm thinking of staying there this year.  (I want to try somewhere different to Palikremnos this year, in view of my experiences with them last year.)  Last year I went up there a couple of times for lunch-time drinks, and the place struck me as being very quiet.  It looked clean and apparently in good order.  The staff were reserved though.  I picked up a brochure, and will book with them direct nearer the time.

I don't think you'll regret it, the staff (and the owner) were very nice ( and reserved, but that's ok with me) the rooms weren't huge but very clean and well prepared

there's a nice lounge space next to the dining area with jazz and classical music playing (with a TV as well)

beautiful gardens to eat your breakfast while gazing over plakias bay

and the owner even let me play his guitar

Harribobs,

Sorry for not getting back sooner but I don't get the chance to visit this site as often as I would like.

I did stay at this hotel on my last trip to Plakias, and enjoyed it.  Although the staff were reserved, they were courteous and helpful.  Breakfasts were taken in the company of the local wasps so I used to amuse myself by trapping and observing one of them under an upturned glass!

I ate there in the evening only on my first night (too many tempting places to go to in town!) but alas it was not to the sound of classical or any other music.      However, the food was good.

This very pleasant establishment is ideal if you are a "far-ender", and, overall, it get's my   .
