A fantastic new opportunity for Plakias lovers has just become available. If you have been on the beach at Plakias, especially at the South-Eastern end, you will have seen the three villas high on the hill overlooking the bay. They are reached by a private road that turns left off the road up to Mirthios and Mariou.
Until now, they could only be rented long-term but they are now available for short-term rent, minimum one week. They each sleep 2-4 persons and have a good sized living room with kitchen off, a proper batroom with washing machine and a big bedroom. The one we viewed a couple of weeks ago had a veranda overlooking the bay and the valley towards Lefcogia and also a small terrace.
The view from up there is breathtaking. Of course, unless you are very fit and love walking you would need to have transport available every day. I for one would not attempt a day-time walk from the beach!
