know if anyone has seen plakias  in the snow before but here you are anyway enjoy!

Yes, great shots indeed; looks like they had a large "dump".  In winter is snow commonplace in Plakias ?

On the mountains yes but as far as I know it is not common to have that amount of snow in Plakias- I know Greece as a whole did suffer a bit in winter last year. A friend of mine who lives in Plakias said they often sit on the beach and relax after eating their X-mas feast as the weather is usually quite pleasant. But then again January+february are usually the worst months in Greece anyway.

we were told that was the first snow they'd seen in over twenty years!
