I think so because the webcam is showing that parts of the road look damp. It has been so stormy, just look at the colour of the sea where the sands been churned up.

There was 12mm rain yesterday and 10m today. The muddy colour of the water is usually caused by the two streams going into spate after a torrential shower carrying lots of sediment. Not been stormy for a while. You can see all this info re weather on the real time weather station situated on Medousa :-

John, I've just returned from 2 weeks in Plakias and the weather was the poorest in 13 visits. Les & Christine are threatening not to go again when I am there, as before I arrived they had a perfect week and they think I jinxed it. Still a good holiday though.

I was watching your weather every day and have just had very long chat with Les and Chris. OK it might have been the worst you have had in 13 visits it would have been great for us. We don't like it very hot and a bit of rain doesn't bother us. We really envied you all being there. Far better weather for us than an ultra hot September (say). Anoraks and boots are our choice !!

We stayed May 19th - Jun 1st, and had more rain than all other visits over 15 years combined. It was torrential on a couple of days, although not for too long, particularly over the last weekend.

That said, it was 'sort of' quite nice to just sit and relax rather than deciding what to do, and except for Sunday the rain wasn't continuous and we had some sun. Leaving this morning, it was getting too hot for us, heading towards 30C.

We also took advantage of the BA chaos last weekend to obtain a refund and stay 2 days longer than we'd planned - our apartment at Skinos was, by chance, available, and we had two lovely sunny days this week, which were not too hot, and a pleasant breeze to boot.

Keep the rain away! I'll be there in 57 days.

Raining again!  But just a few spots.  Warm but overcast this afternoon.  Sea lovely and calm though.
