Tried accessing the Plakias webcams over the last few days-curious to see if there was any snow! However they are not coming up. Are they down or is it some issue at my end?

Me too.......they were having some very stormy, wet and cold weather so I suspect there's a technical hitch.

No snow at plakias, a lot of rain and seaweed knee deep on the beach by the taverners.

Ah - to be in Plakias today now that summer's here.....there is a corner of that far end beach etc  22 degrees today !

The view today looks nice and bright although it is still looks quite on the streets, and a lot of seaweed is getting washed up on the beach on the southeast camera. I have noticed that the sea always seems rougher on the Plakias webcams than it does just along the coast on the Paleochora webcam I don't now if any one else as noticed.

It seems that the camera at Sfakia has been out of order the last couple of days. And I desperately need my dose.
