Anyone met the new Olympic rep yet?

Hi Billy, I thought Les had a lifetime pass from Olympic to stay as rep at Plakias after all the good work he's done there. Probably a change of manager. I didn't think the reps arrived in resort until May at the start of season so I was surprised to hear that Les won't be back. He will definitely be missed by many and his quiz nights where legendary.

Unfortunately, it is no April Fool.  The good folk of Chania will be benefitting from his humour.  The replacement has a hard act to follow, but let's all be welcoming and give him or her a chance.

No Souvlaki House and no Les - what are things coming to in Plakias!  It is good to see from the webcam that at least the sun still shines in Plakias.

It does seem to have been an extensive period of change for Plakias over the last 12 months. With the fire affecting the tavernas on the front, the loss of Babis and family from Gorgona, the demolition of the Souvlaki house, no more Les. I just hope we don't loose Angelo from Costas & Yannis from Ostracos as well. Ah well life goes on and I am sure we will all still enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Plakias as soon as we start our first drink.

I have it on good authority that Babis will be back in Plakias this year - working at the Sophia ! Means all the changes will have a little less impact. Cant wait !

Olympic Holidays start next Tuesday I think, so someone may report back soon. Hold on a little longer, Billy!

So Les has just had a little visit to Plakias. The New Rep is settling in. So come on for Billy and everyone else waiting on tenterhooks! Someone has got to know.
The rumour I heard is that it is another Les...taking a break from the Solana in Benidorm

That's actually a canny likeness of Les anyway! We are doing some gigs and could always rely on Les to push them at meet and greet.
