just looked at todays forecasted weather on the board in Alianthos Gardens reception, and its saying 39degrees for around 3pm ! I presume this is much better than the UK !!

Yes, it's about 16degrees here but fine.
Still, keep that nice warm weather over there cos we will be there in just over two weeks. Actually 15 days.  Roll on !!

We left @ Chania airport yesterday with 36° at 9am and landed @ Dusseldorf with 14 ° at 2pm. 22° difference really hurts.

We passed there about 7pm today and the temperature was 36.  A bit sticky, with a hot breeze. Not that I'm complaining!  I'd rather swelter here than freeze in Manchester.
