just wondering when the season ends over here ? Is the weather still decent in October ?

The weather in October is usually very good.
But being October, you do take a chance of some rain.
I was there for 14 days last year Oct 6 - 20. We had one half day of cloud, one half day of strong wind and 12 perfect days. The year before during the same period we had two days of heavy rain and the rest perfect. Of course, we could be unlucky this year and get lots of wet days but that's October.
Also remember, the days are shorter and nights can be quite chilly.
Overall though October should be good. I'll be there again this year.

Plakias is always beautiful and, in my view, even more beautiful in October!

Looking forward to October again this year, as was mentioned the weather last year was fantastic. It is Europe and it is October but the chance you take is reflected in the price. If it's the amenities you are worried about, then everything is still open for business. Obviously some bus journeys and boat trips may well have finished as these tend to be driven by passenger numbers.

Went in the end of October back in 2008, a bit chilly at times but still quite good weather.
