The deal has disappeared now but could be worth looking again tomorrow or another day as we saw the price start at £245, then disappear, then back at £199 a few days' later, then yesterday, £169. I see Bali's still at £169, as an alternative.

I hope they hold this price for you.  There are people here at the moment who booked for about the same amount of money but there is a clause in the small print which says Olympic has 72 hours in which to change this price.  So they were phoned the next day and the price more than doubled.  It covers cock ups on the web page.  Hope nothing changes for you.  Will be good to see you again.

That sounds like very sharp practice.  Perhaps there should be a reciprocal arrangement where customers have the right to get the price reduced if it comes down within 72 hours.  Somehow, I can't see that happening.  And I've spotted a flaw already - the effect would be that the price would then never come down.  Maybe it is just as well that I don't work in business!

What a pity the cat is out of the bag! I thought I had these last minute bargains to myself!
I too saw the price, it was going at £298 with 15kg. luggage, an absolute steal, but unfortunately can't go this year, but got something similar last year, £200 a head for 7th. October or thereabouts, penultimate week in the season, came home on the same flight as Les.
PLEASE keep these last minute bargains to yourselves, so I can get out there next year, end May or late Sept./October.

P.S. Can anyone let me know the current Myhos & Pitta Souvlaki cost of living index for Plakias, i.e. what is 500ml. Mythos in a Taverna/bar, and the pitta souvlakia at the hut.

"No news is good news" - no contact from Olympic within 72 hours so I guess we're good to go. . After many years of visiting Greek islands in September, we've recently started going at the beginning of May and have been blown away by the abundance of wild flowers and butterflies; the only down side being the low sea temperatures.

Looking forward to this late holiday though as I know that arriving back in Plakias will feel like you foot slipping into your best fitting shoes.
