Just received our flight tickets (Thomson Flights) Man-Hrk, arrive 14.05, 10th Oct. Should be in Plak for dinner. Garlic bread with Stelios....the taste last for the whole fortnight.

Just had our last lunch at Muses, had a wonderful sea bass.
back home at Loutra and flying home to Belgium at fridaymorning.
today almost no wind in Plakias. Monday was a problem to sit at the sea without getting sandblasted.

That's more like it !......looking forward to being there from 18th Sept and yup, I can pretty much guess where we'll be on the first night...probably the Gorgona with Babis having tested the cocktails at the Ostraca ! That's all part of the fun !

Hi All

Frantically doing sums, to work out if we can possibly squeeze another week in Plakias.
If we can, it won't be until last week Sept or 1st week October - we have never been at that time of year, as we always go June or July.
What's it like weather-wise etc?
Presume a lot of the Tavernas shut down about then?
Any of you regulars who go at that time, what's it like?

That is about our normal time to visit though sadly not this year due to our fantastic Easter vist. Weather should be excellent without extreme heat. Might have an occasional rainy day. Most places if not all places still open. Might be very busy as it has become a popular time. Next year we have booked for exactly that period.
