hi everyone we have been in plakias for 4 days now and we are having a ball. sitting in ostraco writing this mail.  we love this place and we cant believe we have never hear of it. ostraco is great especially the cocktails.  It is quite windy but that helps because it is so hot. the whole place is fantastic and the pizza in kyma is out of this world.  Talk to you all soon shelby 213.  going for a mythos now will check back soon

Just returned from a day on the beach - it's great in Cornwall - and hot too!
Nothing beats Plakias though - looking forward to being there soon.
Say Hi to everyone in Ostraco for me Shelby - especially Sharron if you bump into her - and tell her she still owes me an email

I also spent yesterday on the beach in sizzling temperatures - near Southport. The temperature was not as high as I've come across in Greece sometimes but the atmosphere felt compeltely different - I've never felt so sticky. This must be the humidity. It doesn't help that the sea is half a mile away - that's a problem you don't encounter in Greece as there's no tide. I did however get right into the Irish Sea even if it wasn't deep enough  to swim - it must years and years since I did that.

Shelby, in case you haven't heard it's been 37.9 C at Heathrow Airport today  - that's 100 F and is the highest ever recorded temperature in Britain.

After a completely (well it felt like it) sleepless night last night I am looking forward to getting to Plak tomorrow, where tomorrow night I shall be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves, and looking up at the stars.
Got to be done...........
Cheers
