camera info

I am thinking of getting one of these as my first 'big' camera. Has anyone any experience with this, or recommend others?

Hi Dave

Imho you can't really go that wrong with a Nikon, but I can quite work out which model it is, let me know and I will check out the reviews and let you know if I can see any problems

Cheers

chris

It's got some really good reviews! Photo and video quality seems to be very impressive and the price looks good. One thing that is probably obvious but it would seem to be a almost fully automatic camera with a good range of pre-sets. The lens is fixed so you won't be be able to swap and change it but looking at the range of it, you wouldn't need to

It runs on AA batteries so you should be always be able to pick spares and I think Nikon are still offering an extra years warranty

lookd good to me!! :)
