New Ferry Plakias-Gavdos

A new ferry to Gavdos will be established:

Saturday, 16.04. and Sunday 17.04.:
09.00: Gavdos - Plakias
13.00: Plakias - Gavdos

Tuesday, 19.04., Thursday, 21.04.:
09.00: Gavdos - Paleochora
13.00: Paleochora - Gavdos

Friday, 22.04.:
09.00: Gavdos - Paleochora
12.00: Paleochora - Gavdos
14.00: Gavdos - Plakias
16.00: Plakias - Gavdos

Monday, 25.04.:
09.00: Gavdos - Plakias
11.00: Plakias - Paleochora
13.00: Paleochora - Gavdos

Nice to know that someone is taking advantage of the new facilities in Plakias. Do you know how long the trip takes?

Just a thought, I've never been there or know anything about the island, what's on there?

Nothing planned as yet Mike but who knows what the year might bring. I'm quite prepared to leave it right until the last moment if needs be and whatever method of getting there is available I'll take it.
I've got something important to do while I'm there so I must get back there soon.

Are you on an Olympic holiday and flying with Strategic airlines? If so you will probably be one of the first on the forum to be able to report on this company that Olympic are using for the first time.

Have a good time. Plakias should be quiet this early in the season.

Yes Mike will be on the Strategic flight 9am from Manchester! It's just a week earlier than I went last year (4 May) I know it will be quiet, that's how I like it.  Kerstin will be there a few days later as well.
I will report back (away for 2 weeks) on the flight and any other gossip!  Staying at Dora this time and hoping Kostas bar and pool will be open at least the 2nd week.

Can't wait now!!!

Yes, we will arrive on the 2nd of May in the evening. As always we have booked Castello and Taxi4You.
