I am so glad that i found this website.  My husband booked us our holiday to plakias and i have to say i was a bit concerned as i hadnt really heard much about it.  I was worried that there wouldnt be much to do but this site is fantastic.  i am glad there are places to go and things to see and i know we are going to have a fanatastic time.  Roll on august and once again thanks for this site it fab.

I understand your concern, I was as well before our first trip. But thanks to Johns website and a rather large Q&A thread in the forum we became more and more excited before we arrived. We weren't disappointed and have (and will continue to) visit Plakias as often as we can.

We booked also knowing nothing about the place - but once I found the site I have got more and more excited about my trip!
We go on the 18th July till about 2nd August - can't wait!

And I'm sure nobody will be let down!  It's a funny thing about Plakias - people very seldom go there just once!

Well it's a week since I returned from my last visit - and I'm still feeling the warmth  (pity everyone else at work doesn't)

And Ploppy - looking forward to meeting up again for a few Mythos and a long chat on Ostraco balcony!
