I have left a short reply for Graeme re The Troll but all the postings on that subject have come up as attributable to me.

Only the last posting is mine addressed to  Graeme.

Please help me correct this ?.

Being a bit slow on the uptake (due to my advanced age and mis-spent youth) I am thinking the poor donkey is not a donkey at all but a deeply intellectual reference to "smack the pony".
Anyhow I do like your take on Shakin' your ass.................................

 I don't know if I should spoil all the fun and fab. emoticons from Chas BUT I have got a new computer !!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dear old machine  ( complete with my now famous windows '98  ) has at long last given up the ghost and joined the big chip in the sky.
I have a new laptop - a super duper Toshiba , all brushed metal and very touchy feely. AND Windows 7 to boot. (Scuse the pun)
All change really as I have moved into my beautiful new retirement apartment in a lovely walled garden and gated community in the centre of Barnstaple.
Although I do miss my old computer , it became a danger to my sanity what with it's crashing and freezing and downright spiteful behaviour. (Not the operator , you understand) I must admit that this new one is really impressive.
I hope to take it with me to Plakias in 2010 so will be able to store photo's and things without having a nervous breakdown waiting for it to lose everything and then having the downright nerve to ask me silly questions.

Season's Greetings to you Heather - I'm sure the new laptop will give you hours of fun. I find Vista (and Windows 7 presumably) still ask odd questions when things go wrong but generally tell you which response they want you to give - they know best even when they're crashing (sounds like some drivers).
