Have been tandem paragliding in France (Morzine) and in Turkey and it's great. However I think the winds in Plakias may cause problems although i'm sure that you would get great lift when its hot and calm.

eerrrr suggest you pay a visit to the hospital in Rethimnon before you take to the skys flyboy,it aint the nhs by any means.Most people only visit once then try their luck in Athens,then fly home to get sorted.Good luck and bon voyage!
