Change in Message display?
« on: July 31, 2007, 08:46:47 PM »
I've noticed that message threads are displayed now instead of displaying all messages in full in chronological order. Is this an 'upgrade' or is there an option I can select to go back to full message display.

I can't see any difference in the way my display is set up ... have you "fat fingered" something :?:

That's the usual reason for my stuff doing "the wrong thing"

{Edit: Changed my sig. before posting the above - it was not meant as a comment, maybe synchoronicity?}

Thanks Chas - you're probably correct. I am prone to random pressing of keys and selection of options.

I now know what I'd done. When displaying posts there is an Options drop-down menu. Under Display Modes, I'd selected 'Outline'.
For anyone interested, Linear+ = Standard but with the first post in the topic always shown at the top of the page even if the posts span several pages.
