Hi I've just joined! and was wondering if any of you seasoned Plakias visitors would remember 'Willie' the 'ageing' hippie who travelled around and was around Plakias when we were there , I think it was about 1992 ? and also Paul who used to live near us here in Cleveleys ?
There was a taverna just on the left as you go up the main street owned by Michalis where we used to meet. Michalis used to try to make English 'fairy' cakes and cottage pie for his English customers and we used to drink local wine served in aluminium jugs !
