Thanks very much to everybody for their good wishes, they must worked as i am very pleased to announce i'm almost completely recovered

it's a very painful experience and annoyingly connected to living the good life. not what you'd expect after being on a diet for weeks!

thanks again!!!

I have had the same condition many years ago Chris and know exactly what you went through.......very painful indeed ( not as painful as watching my footie team at the moment though !  .  Glad to see you are recovered and now earning a living to pay for the next Plakias visit.

John

Hi John,

Any news on that lovely dog we got friendly with at the far end?  I think someone was going to offer him a home.

Hi John,

Hi Mandy
We nicknamed the little puppy " Fiddle " ( being a playmate of Bouzouki ) but were dismayed to find out on our penultimate day of our holiday that he is homeless. We spent that day around the Alianthos pool as it was far too windy to venture to the beach and became aware of "Fiddle's" predicament from a nice English, dog loving  couple, Carolyn and Mike.   The collar Fiddle wears is just an indication that he has been seen by a vet and that he has had the "snip" and not as we thought that he had a home to go to like Bouzouki has.

As far as I know at the present, through the great help of Carolyn and Mike  ( after they returned home from Plakias  ) they arranged for the Friends of Animals ,Rethymnon to collect "Fiddle" and on October 23 he was transferred to Germany to a private foster home from where he will then be rehomed to a loving
family.

So it looks like there is a happy ending to "Fiddle" who was such a gorgeous lttle puppy.

If I get to know any more information I will pass it on.

John
