Plakias, does seem to have a good selection of beaches, most of which have plenty of beds, bars ect. Are there any that are quieter, not worried if we have to take our own rations and shade.

How "crowded"   and which facilities, depends on the time in the season

Chris, the beach at Ligres sounds well worth a visit, it sounds just our type.

we'll be paying a visit next month, so i'll let you know what i think about the place...gosh i might even take a few pictures as well!
