Nice photo and useful too. I feel quite stupid as we often walk over to Amoudi and have continued along crossing the stream there to walk over the back of the headland and not realised that Shinaria was there lurking on our right as we headed along.

you'd love it John, it's one of our favourite walks
i'm not an expert on geology but i think it looks glacial, the strange thing is the rocks are vertical.....
it's all close to the sea, there's a few coves, very private, but ( and i think i;ve said this before) if you think you have to start scrambling, and it looks a bit dangerous.....back up and look again
the path is cairned but in a landsape of rocks, you can miss them easily
the road from the shinaria leads to lefokogia.....thats where you can see the water running up hill..........
