Just wondering what the weathers like over in Plakias at the moment, is it windy ?

Hi Pimo,

Look at the link to Plakias weather in the Useful Links at the top of the page (14.5km/hr at the time of writing).  I too like to keep an eye on the wind.  The webcam looks achingly gorgeous, with calm seas and the trees seem quite still.  We're going out on Tuesday so may see you around.

I was there from 1st to 15th August and wind? what wind? August? The weather's gone mad but no wind, all but a little breeze suited me!

Very little wind to speak of but big rain storm this morning lasted about half an hour with huge rainbow across the bay. Most people were in shock as it rarely rains in August.

It rained in early June this year and one local was saying he'd been there for 13 years and it was a first for him. Hope it stays dry in October though.....

Was in Syros and Mykonos in May and it was really cold. Guy running a taverna in Mykonos said "it's not normal". Is abnormal weather the new normal?
