I'm looking for a cheap room in Plakias for the middle of sept 2 weeks.

Does someone have a suggestion?

Don't know about cheap but friendly and pleasant, well located (close to the centre but not at all noisy) see

I can reccomend Aphrodite rooms ? right up the back by porto plakias, no road noise, perfect peace!

It ia also worth checking out Gioma (last taverna on the Sea side before the walk to soudha beach). They have (or did) 4 small basic rooms above the taverna. The room by the road is noisy but I don't remember a noise problem with the other 3. If you can get the end room overlooking the sea, the position is perfect. There is a small balcony so you can sit out side and enjoy the setting sun. Two years following we were able to watch a pair of kingfishers on the beach below. (September). Not easy to do in the UK.

I would book at Ifegenia, in the middle of the 2 beaches Plakias and Damnoni, on the road of Kalypso Hotel. Nice quiet place in the olive groves
