how long does it take from getting to the airport in rethymnon to plakias? i keep reading different things from 30mins to 2 hours?

I've done Chania to Plakias in a hire car in around 0ne and a half hours and that wasn't pushing it.
Rethymnon to Plakias about half hour max.
BTW there's no airport in Rethymnon

hahaha george my mistake!!!! we are flying to Heraklion .... how long does it take from this airport to plakias?

Stevie,

Taxi should be 90 minutes. If its a package transfer it could be up to double that or more if really unlucky  

Hopefully it will be worth it!

And if you use public transport (i.e. 3 separate buses/coaches) it's around 4 hours.
