Hi we are going to Plakias mid June and have booked to stay at the Gio-ma room only. has any one stayed there? Could you tell us what to expect? The owners are called Anna and Monolis. Thanks in anticipation.
Love plakias, we discovered it whilst on holiday in Crete last year, we were staying in Spili at Herocles rooms, if they are half as good as his rooms were, we'll be more than satisfied, Yassos!!!

Never been to these rooms but most places in the village are of a good standard, although some are of a better value than others. So you should have a great time in the resort wherever you stay and I hope that you really enjoy yourself.

Its our place of choice (OK - my wife's place of choice). We've stayed there maybe 10 times over the last few years. Nice view over the sea but I think you pay just a bit more for that. No complaints at all.

Thanks for that. We would sleep on park bench if we had to!!!!!!!!!! We absolutely adore Plakias, paradise!!

BTW - we've just come back from Plakias (Feb 09) - see other topic. Our villa is just not quite ready so once again we had to take rooms - Gio-Ma was not officially open but they opened a room for us - once again no probs.

BTW Haris at moto auto plakias has his rooms open all year round - with central heating
