 Go up the street with Ali and Dave's shop on your left , then first left and left again. Small , residential street with Kostas-Chrysoulla down on the right hand side.

Hi Alex , Fran,

When I first arrived my fridge was not working and as no one about at Santa Maria I went looking for Edwina. I found her and waited while this was sorted. I did get to the Livicon eventually and had a coffee.  (Me, ginger hair , pushbike , old.) I looked around but not wanting to be pushy didn't ask for you. I apologise for that as I was looking forward to meeting a few people. I went to Livicon often for coffee  ( or  banana split ) most days after first Friday but only plucked up courage to speak to Rowena and Carl whom I recognised from their pic. Later the next day -  Wednesday -I was taken ill with breathing problems and had to go to hospital in Rethymno and spent susequent 3 days there or in my room. So my first week was a bit messed up and dramatic. However I did have a wonderful holiday as usual , despite all that and the Plakias wind too !
I do hope you also had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed Plakias. I am sorry to have missed you - maybe next time !

Very frightening , not being able to breathe properly.
I would like to say I have nothing but praise for the Plakias doc. Doctor Alexandrakis who read my distress as I was unable to speak. He and the Pharmacist were very kind, Also the doctors and staff at Rethymno hospital who treated me swiftly and with great professionalism. It was due to their actions that I was able to return eventually to Plakias to continue my hols. as best as I was able.
I rather startled my own GP here by walking into her surgery yesterday and presenting her with my chest x ray. !!! (given to me as I left Rethymno hospital).
