Freddie sun bed man

Does freddy, the sun bed man at the far end ever get a mention on here? We first met him in 08 and found him to be a real friendly and helpful person. We were in Plakias July this year and he remembered us, he even lent us his canoe so we could have a paddle round the bay. One night he even served us our evening meal in a taverna saying he didn't recognise us clothed!!

Yes Freddie gets his fair share of mentions on here. Do a search on Freddie/Freddy and you will get a lot of results including a couple of pictures.

Mostly well known by the far-enders but as you say some will know him from Lysseos where he works in the evening and more may know him from the Livicon where he ends up in the evenings to meet his wife/unwind/chat to the regulars.

A lovely fella who usually has a few cheeky comments at his disposal.

Hi Spottttttt

totally agree with you, we met Freddy when he first came to Plakias many years ago.....he is a real genuine guy, helpful and friendly to everyone.
His brother Lefti is a waiter at The Paligremnos and is equally as nice. We look forward to having a good laugh with them on our annual visits!!!!
For two oldie's like us it is so refreshing to enjoy their company & their wives Emma & Linda.

Hope you'll continue to enjoy Plakias as we have for more than 20 years.!!
