Take away fish & chips
« on: August 02, 2008, 12:24:56 PM »
Strange request I know, but there is a reason.
So, is there a place in Plakias where you can get taheaway fish & chips?
Thanks

Click on Article System above, then tavernas, and then Nikos Fish & Chips.

I agree it is a strange request, but each to his own!

Ideed a strange request. I hope there is not a Dutch taverne with bitterballen and frikandellen.

Thanks Mike  No offence but now I know what to avoid in Plakias.

We hope to eat as much as possible Greek food. The Greek food just taste better when you are in the country.

The Dutch Taverne is in Kos Town, beside the Agora .......... so what do you snack on with your Amstel?

The Plakias "chippy" is not a la Harry Ramsden - it is decidedly Greek - on a couple of occasions when we passed by, it was "Closed for Private Party"

Oh, yes now I remember again. There is a lot of Amstel in Greece. First I try the local beer and wine. And the rest. Normally after a late dinner I won't require snacks, although my partner.. but that's a different snack

Maybe I can score a good bottle of scotch wiskey in Heraklion. Islay or from the Orkney's. My better half likes it too.
