I'm going to be real sick sitting on my balcony at the Dora overlooking floodlit swimming pools, it shouldn't be allowed!!

I had a look inside these places last week and they are a bit nice! The pictures don't lie.

Are you the acting UK agent sherylhume1, just wondered?

we will have to be sick together george, coz i wont be staying in them either
but your right they are lovely inside.........i'm no agent though, just mates with the owner.  when people on the forum asked for picture i told him to send them across so you could all see them - it just took me long enough to work out how to attach photos to the posts and to change them into a format that would work.  got there in the end though

Hi Sheryl,

Wish I'd known about the villas in Plakias before sorting this year's holiday in Plakias but that's showbiz. We are staying in Plakias for a week and then having a few days exploring the East of the Island finishing with a week in Lefkogia in a villa there which we found last year! Bit pricey but we had a car smash in November 2004 and needed a place to really chill for at least part of our break.

Will have a look at the villas when we are in Plakias from 6th June this year. Can't wait especially with that Siberian wind howling through the Borders! Makes the Plakias gorge whistles seem like the Sirocco!

hi doggie
if there is no one in the villas, tell the owner (phillipos) that sheryl said to come and look at them and he will give you a guided tour - there really smart inside.
have to admit to being curious, looked at your profile - your just up the road, im in jedburgh.  i've never seen anyone on this forum from the borders before, its a small world

yeh john i knew you were close - i meant the "scottish borders".  its never happened yet, but it just seems funny to go all the way to plakias to meet someone from afew miles up the road.  i am guilty of refering to my holiday place as somewhere on the south coast of crete, i like to keep it for myself

Hi Sheryl,
Thanks...will look for Phillipos in June and hope to see round the villas. I'll mention your providing the info and pics!
Know what you mean about keeping the South Coast to yourself! I had a couple of breaks in Retimo/Chania but once through the Samaria Gorge and having stayed in places like Loutro to let the legs repair, and Plakias, we're hooked on the South.
It sure is a small world...I'm in Melrose, for now, but originally a Gala man and spent many a wet and windy afternoon at Riverside, watching not playing.  For now though, Plakias June 2006 can't come soon enough.

Has anyone or knows anyone who have stayed at these apartments ?

We're really looking forward to this holiday.  Haven't been back to Plakias in 5 years just hope not much has changed.

Well My family & my In-laws stayed at the  villa alkisti in May.

All I can say is that I do not believe any accommodation in Plakias will ever be able to live upto the luxury you had in this Villa.

We were spoilt, though next year it will be more down to earth, as it will only be the four of us, and these villas in August are too expensive for that number of people.
