Most embarrassing moments in Plakias

Thought it might be a good topic. "Most embarrasing moments in Plakias"
For those with over five years there it is inevitable that there will have been one or two. Of course some might not be publishable... leave that your discretion.

One of mine is having had a lovely day at the beach, no wind, no power cuts at the room, showered and dressed up, feeling cool set out to promenade.  Bang in the middle of the village feeling utterly great and relaxed the Geese took a liking or disliking to me and I had to flee in the most ungainly manner...
They are scary creatures.
Always had a healthy respect for them since. ie. given them a wide berth..!

In the present dire situation for birds (and cats?) it might not matter much what kind of drinking habits they have. :'(

But this tread was to be about embarrassing moments in Plakias. I can only remember one such incident.

I fell asleep on the Rethimnon-Plakias bus one hot late July afternoon. I woke up with my head on the shoulder of a Greek man, while my fellow passengers were roaring with laughter.

Later that summer a Greek teenage schoolgirl did the same on my shoulder for 20 minutes on the Iraklion-Rethminon bus. From the smirks on her friend’s faces I guess she was not going to have a pleasant afternoon.
