Sifi's

Sifi is what I imagine the archetypal Cretan looks like. Short, stocky, and with a large and unruly moustache. It is a grill house and serves good food, a 5 skewer pork souvlaki particularly impressing. House red wine of variable quality.

A great place to go if you're hungry: the portions are big!  Also serves Rethymnon light and dark beer if you fancy a change from Mythos.

Food still good, although the house red wine had deteriorated somewhat. Sifi bought a small tumbler of raki instead of a small "nip".

A favourite with the locals, a good indicator.
Prices are great, same as the souvlaki hut for a pita gyros, and 2€ for a bottle of Mythos.
