February onwards temperatures 2016
« on: March 08, 2016, 09:45:05 PM »
It appears that Crete is currently having some record breaking temperatures, 30C+ degrees recorded in the Chania area.
You may find this link for Greece interesting, www.e-kairos.gr
A bit of playing around and mainland and other islands can be viewed.
Hope this is interesting to all and if anyone from the forum is currently in Crete can they confirm that the temperatures are exceptional.

Kalloni.

The weather station on top of Medousa (seems to have started working again today) shows in its archives the maximum daily temperatures this March so far to range between  16.9 to 20.6 which is probably not exceptional.

The other week on Forces TV they showed the temperatures for Cyprus to be in excess of 30 deg. C which I thought was surprising.  Maybe it was just a blip in the weather.
