We are not a fan of Damnoni beach but this taverna is excellent.
Good place to sit and chill in the evening and excellent fish.
Manolis Violakis is a musician, first live music night of the year is on June 5th 2013.

Our sentiments exactly. Damnoni beach is a prime example of the uglification of Crete by greedy developers catering to a mass market that has no taste or respect for beauty. But the taverna serves delicious food and is a cut above most establishments.
