1. Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, carbon neutral, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender non-specific celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practised within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or the choice as athiest or agnostic not to practice religious or secular traditions in any form.
2. May you have a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated period of time determined by the recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2012, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice for other cultures, and due regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual orientation of the recipient.

This was passed to me by an ex-colleague - he was reminded of the time when I was a management trainer and had to re-write a great deal of course materials after the implementation of equal opportunity policies. This causes a great deal of non PC comment in the pub after work!
Merry Christmas everyone!
