taxi from heraklion to plakias

Hi - I love this forum - I have found out so much - can anyone now tell me the best way to get a taxi from Heraklion airport to Plakias - I mean should we book in advance, or just pick one up at the airport. How much should we expect to pay and do you have any tips to avoid possibly getting ripped off? We have been told 3 different things so far by different people - £20 for total journey, no matter how many passengers, or about £20 each (ie £40 for two of us), or about £60 if we want to book in advance!

last years prices but it will give you a guide, it was €65 (about £45), when i have used taxis in the past, i always just picked one up at the airport and never had a problem, IIRC there's a board by the rank giving prices
