Preveli rooms/beach

Hi,

Can anyone advise us about preveli rooms, we have booked 3 days here so we can visit the beach and forrest, can we reach this by bus? How much will it cost?

We will stay briefly in Plakias preferably in a nice hotel room with a pool, any recommendations?(we dont want costa and chrysoula)

Somewhere quiet and accessible, also we are travelling from Heraklion airport we hope to get to plakias by bus any tips ?

We will eventually move up through plakias to Stavros chania any help on travel tips on accommodation would be greatly appreciated.
