To you fortunate people who are there now, where is the best place to change Sterling to Euro's around Plakias?
What are they offering at the moment please?

The Post Office card (it's not a credit card) is a good option. It's actually a card you load up and use in any ATM.
Why take Sterling when you can use one of the four ATM's in the village at any time of day or night?

Hi Bertie, The one we use is from last year. They don't apparently offer it any more, but still have the same no commission deal. We were offrered the 'pre-loaded' card when we went for the currency. With the credit card, when you buy currency from the post office with it, they don't treat it as a cash advance, but as a purchase and its cheap to use when abroad as well, as long as you pay it off in full when you return.
