My message re: 'Places to go' has dissappeared, it seemed very popular, do you want me to put it back??

The message has not disappeared - it's just that the board software is set to hide messages which are older than 90 days old.
If you go to the forum page, there is a setting you can change - if you change 'the last 60 days' to 'the beginning', then the message will show.

It should be visable now though - as I added a message to the thread you started!
