Hi there

I'm thinking of going to Plakias in May and really like the look of the Kostas-Chrysoulla Studios. Can anyone tell me a lil more about them? I'm confused about the number of units as different brochures give me different figures!

Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hi

My wife and I have just returned from Kostas-Chrysoulla (2-16/10/07) and we had the worst accommodation ever. The water was literally scalding and we were constantly in danger of it when showering or washing, as well as the risk of burning on the pipes and taps. The shower basin was mouldy and had been for a long time, the hairdryer was illegally wired into the back of the socket, toilet leaked and cistern was faulty, I could go on but suffice to say that the block we were in is in drastic need of renovation. Plakias itself however was beautiful and the naturist beach very accessible and the best and most used section of the beach.

Dear Mike, We've not stayed there for a few years now but it is centrally located, ideal for bars and restaurants. It is about a 15 min. walk to the 'far end' naturist beach. Very pleasant, though, walking along the front.

Dear Graham & Karen, thanks very much for that info, it sounds good. I booked last night for two weeks in October so there's no going back now.

Best wishes
Mike

hi lesley ann - not sure what to tell you eveything is pretty basic but still has everything you need, its a nice wee friendly place. buffet breakfast if your up in time - pool bar is there for drinks and snacks all day. the pool is always clean as are the rooms - no one really bothers you. the rooms are either ground level or first floor, nothing higher. and the owners (2 kostas's) are friendly and speak great english. if you think of anything that you need too know let me know

on another note i'm coming out in sympathy with mike - the newcastle flight with olympic has now changed its departure time 3 times. i've gave up. its now meant to be 9am but i'm not holding my breath - bet it changes again

Hi Sheryl. My wife and I are thinking of going to Crete for the first time in October and would like to know if you have any knowledge about Kostas-chrysoullas apartments, I have seen their own website but it doesn't say how close to the naturist beach it is. I would be very grateful for any information you might be able to give us.

With thanks

Thanks
