Good informative report chris, as a newbie going for first time aug 20 with two beachloving sun worshippers, can I expect the same sort of winds you have experienced? If so what am I going to do with them, will I have to hire a car to get away from it all? to sheltered beaches like souda? Plakias sounds like the ideal place for me but I am concerned that I may get a bit of flack from wife and daughter. Any good points I can point out to redeem myself? Any further information appreciated.
