Where to eat...or not! / Where to eat?

Hello,

There are many many nice places where to eat very well in Plakias and surroundings it depends of course of what you want : meat, fish, looking at the sea, or eat quietly in a nice garden ...
I change every day according to the weather (windy or not), my mood etc ...
My favourite until now are : Manoussos, very good, peaceful, Christos at the harbour, Sirocco near the harbour wonderful view and good food, Tavernaki (they recently changed of name it was a waiter of TassoManoli who opened his own restaurant), café Néon, and many others ...
But what I like most is the one in the mountains (I forget always the name unbelievable and I live here 2 years) it's in fact frequented mostly by Greek people and you go in the kitchen to do your menu ....

Where to stay / On the cheap

Hello,

What a good idea to come back in Plakias (like most people I meet here I must say).
Well if you don't mind dealing your room with other people you can try the Youth Hostel hold by friends of mine I think it's now 9 Euros the night ...
Or of course which is very nice you can have a room at Lamon in front of the sea (must be between 20-25 Euros the room).  This is a price per single appartment and you can be until 4 in an appartment so it would be even cheaper per person if you are a few friends ....

I know also the Panorama which is a little upon the hill 5 minutes from harbour with splendid view about same price ...

If you need other information, let me know I now live here since 2 years.
