Where to stay / Frangokastello

In September 2002 there went every Friday a boat from Plakias to Loutro via Frangokastello and Chora Sfakion. It departed about 9 to 10 and returned in the late afternoon.

But one question more: Did you stay in a Hotel or in a Private Studio/Appartment/Room?
Did you stay overnight in Plakias or in a surrounding village?

I saw the new monument in September 2002, but as Austrian I prefer to make no comment. But I hope this sad times of the 30s and 40s will never return.

Compage, I think with enthusiastic photographers it's always the same whether they are Germans or Japanese or someone else. They want to take pictures and even it threatens their life, they will take risk. It is an obsession.

Hi everyone

I know a lot of beauty places all over greece and every place has got its own.
I think too, it's the topography of the Finikas County, that makes Plakias so unique. The Lybian Sea in front, the high Mountains and deep gorges behind, fresh Water from the Rivers and legal nudist sunbathing near the village provides a small touch of paradise.

Hi Everyone

I wish you all a really wonderful  
[span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']NEW PLAKIAS YEAR 2004 [/span]  
with meltemis, sands, clear water and spicy doughnuts [Berliner (in German), Krapfen (in Austrian)] as usual.

I spent my last holidays in Plakias in September 2002. It was as wonderful as at my first time there in September 1985 and I hope to fly to this lovely place this Year again.
